Cryptic? Well since I am a swap happy kind of gal (swaps are a form of alternative economy, but that is for another post) these are my spoils from the Five Senses Swap organized by Jen over at Scissors Paper Glue. My swap partner was the lovely Lori of Laeroport. All my grade school French come flowing back to me: Monsieur Bertillon est un douanier et il travaille dans l'aeroport.

There is a CD with Pavorotti singing arias - Nessun Dorma from Turandot is one of my all time faves. That and the Magic Flute; the chocolate, what chocolate? It's gone, baby gone; the eye gels intrigued Beatrice and her friend Juno. I think I will knit something to keep them on my eyes - so I can wake and at least face the world looking well-rested; the lovely soap is hand made from the farmers market: Marigold Meadow; and finalment, a hand painted silk bookmark that Lori bought many years ago during a trip to Australia. Little did she know my ties to the far continent, my father being Australian. Oh the serendipity.

Off to the Maker Faire today. Many things to see. Many things to make.

Neat - and I mistook that soap for pineapple, having just consumed the first whole one of the season.

Your dad may be Australian, but boy, do you look like your mum...
