Been Back But Playing Blog Hookey or What happened to a relaxing Summer?
We haven't been camping this whole time, honestly four days is about my max, then I need a real bed and a shower. Well, we had a glorious time. The camp site was a gamble that paid off - unknown, far away, and no reserved spots. We were high in the Sierras, near Ebbet's Pass, almost to the Nevada Border and when I mean high, I mean 8,000 feet above sea level high. Those white patches? Snow. It was broiling in the lowlands, but we had beautiful spring-like weather. Blue alpine lakes, verdant fields dotted with wild flowers, gorgeous.
More (I promise) soon, including a fabulous giveaway - maybe at 103 and no, not a dalmatian.

Oh, snow! It was a muggy, 95 degree state of Gross yesterday. Typical for Missouri. I could use some summer snow! Bookmarking this in my Places to Travel. And camping, to boot! Glad you had such a lovely time--welcome back!
