Three words: Little Miss Sunshine. The teenage brother communicating via note pad - just one particular favorite. Adolescent relations are not so frosty here in the Knitsonya household, but I could see it happening. Hold the angst, a serving of détente for everyone instead.

i can't tell you how much i Love that Movie!
and how much i love it when the little girl goes over to her brother after he freaks out about his eyesight issue and puts her little arm on his shoulder and says, "come on, let's go." and he looks at her and they get up together and get in the van... OMG it just makes my heart ... you know?

oh, how i love this movie!
i love the dancing scene near the end. i could watchit over and over and over again.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I thought the movie was pedestrian. No wit, no genius, just normal people. I expect a good film to show me more.
