Studio Love or I owe it all to V. Woolf

Studio

Yes, I have a studio. A place to house my yarn and felt and fabric. A place where I can leave my knitting and sewing machines out and ready to use. Because this is San Francisco and I'm not independently wealthy, what I have is essentially a storage room in the basement of an old Victorian. I'm down there with the water heaters and the coin-op washer and dyer. The upside? It's 300 square feet. I'll post more photos as I get organized and more moved in.

Oh it is lovely! I loved it when I got all my stuff in one room--then of course I realized I had wayyy too much but still it is so nice to have it all together.

Hey--do you want a table top loom? I am thinking with all your yarn (and new space) and such that you might NEED one and I have one I need to get rid of!

A room of your own.

wonderful!

cool! can't wait to see!!

Crikey! That's almost as big as my house. Congratulations. I always wonder what it would be like to have my stuff away from me. Let us know.

Nice! 300 square feet, huh? I'm embarrassed about the post I've planned for tomorrow...
Enjoy all that crafting space! Shoot, you even have room to spin around and do silly dances if you want.

Congratulaions, how exciting to have a room of one's own x

Anna:

You fortunate woman! But you do realize that you can never again use the it's-too-crowded-and-I-need-some-space-excuse for not crafting??
But that's me, you'll do magic in your studio!

Excellent.

I expect Great Things of you.

Hurray! Let the creative energy explode! What a relief to be able to leave the stuff out...

300 square feet is a great amount of space. Good on ya!

mims:

hey sonya! it is so loverley! I wish I had a basement.

sara:

Oh the Envy. Oh it burns!! Oh, the greenish tinge!! I can't wait for my craft room to be finished. And when it is, it will be about 54 square feet. Floor to ceiling chelving will cut into that. I'll have no room for dancing, that's for sure. How exciting for you!

SWEET! it's looking good! when you end up doing the screenprinting stuff in your garage, lemme know! i wanna watch...
happy friday! :o)ek.

You lucky thing! Enjoy the space :)
