Birthday Eve or the Pre-cake cupcake
Tomorrow, we are going to eat our way around the city. Breakfast at home, then a streetcar ride to the Ferry Building where I'll munch on Grapefruit and Jicama Salad from Out the Door, crab cakes from DeliCA rf1, and a tasty chocolate morsel from Recchiuti. We can walk it off before dinner at the newly opened Kasa and then home for cake and champagne. Who has a food blog now?

Happy Birthday to my favorite Cancer! (Well, after my mom.)
I looked through all your recent Flickr photos just now and felt this huge pang; I miss you! I wish I lived closer so I could just pop by your house sometimes on my daily dog walks.
I have this fantastic chocolate tea, by the way. It's like hot chocolate and tea at the same time. (Especially since I drink it with milk and sugar.)
